My first research.
When i was in Malaya University, i already done one experiment . I wrote a tesis for my final year project to qualified for my degree. My tesis title was " Measurement sky brightness using pitch black meter and Light detector. Now i just want to write a lil' bit about my project.
when my prof. give me the title, i'm delighted. He want me to use pitch black meter ( PBM ) for measure sky brightness for to determine ' subuh ' and ' isyak' time for muslim. I accepted.
then i make a research and a lot of reading and also surfing in internet. i found that, there is a lack of sensitivity when i using pitch black meters. it can make a good measurement for isyak but it can't gave a perfect measure for subuh. for the first time i make the observation, i found it is difficult to gave a good results.
from that situation, i came up with one device that can enhance the lack of pitch black meters. the idea of light detector device ( LDD) born. I put it with PMB then it came up with a good results that i wanted. I using a light dependent resistor ( LDR) for my LDD curcuit . Because of my budget very low, i can't afford to buy a good LDR. a good LDR is depent to it's LUX, the sensitivity of LDR.
For me this is one of my afford to measure by using a science physic to determine the prayers time. In muslim world, we just using math to get exactly time. maybe i can further my research in this project one day. hopefully.
